NeRITe
Project Title: Regional Innovation and Technology Transfer Network
Project Duration: 1 April 2026 – 31 March 2029
Brief description of the project
The ThWIC project NeRITe strengthens collaboration between science, industry and other stakeholders to accelerate innovation in water analysis, water treatment and water management.
Achieving a more sustainable use of water requires new technologies, solutions and business models. However, such innovations can only emerge when different stakeholders are willing to share knowledge, jointly develop solutions and collaborate across disciplinary and organisational boundaries. In practice, this is often hindered by differing perspectives, working cultures and a lack of suitable exchange formats.
The NeRITe project addresses these challenges by developing tailored networking and knowledge transfer formats that meet the specific needs of scientific and industrial partners. Various event and workshop formats will be designed, tested, evaluated through social science research and continuously refined. In addition, the project will develop a toolbox of transfer formats and a digital matchmaking platform to support targeted networking and collaboration between stakeholders.
By fostering exchange, collaboration and knowledge transfer, NeRITe helps to facilitate partnerships and strengthen innovation processes for sustainable water technologies.
